Our family moved to Cape Coral 15 years ago from a small town in Carroll County, Maryland. The mayor owned the grocery store, the school bus driver owned the carry out. The church we attended was on Church St, the main street through town was called Main St and the US Post Office was on what else? Yes, Post Office Road.
When we established Griffith Cooling & Heating here in Cape Coral in 1995, we decided that our business would operate with all of the ethics of a small town. Simple, honest and filled with integrity. Our customers would never feel that the decision they made to choose us was nothing but the right one. We know you will feel that way also.
Bill.....that's me. I have 30 years experience in the heating and cooling business. I have worked for several large A/C companies. When I moved here I went to work for a few local A/C companies and was extremely disappointed in their business practices. I decided to start my own business with the help and support of my wife and children.
My wife Dorothy, she manages the office and takes care of the books. She is outstanding in customer service relations, as she was the assistant manager for a major hotel chain in Maryland. She can also diagnose many A/C problems over the phone and oddly enough, has never picked up a screw driver.
We have three children, one son is a partner and works full time for the company, the other son is a Fish & Wildlife officer, he has recently married and works with us part time. Our daughter has a successful career in Naples. We also have a gorgeous grandson.
